MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE OECS SKILLS FOR INCLUSIVE GROWTH PROJECT
REQUEST FOR CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Government of St Lucia has received financing from the International Development Association (the World Bank) towards the cost of the “OECS Skills for Inclusive Growth Project” and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under various contracts for delivery of training in the Hospitality and Construction Sectors.
The Government of Saint Lucia herein represented by the Ministry of Economic Planning and National Development now invites sealed proposals from eligible training providers for delivery of training in the following competence and skilled areas:
· Hospitality
· Construction
Training is to be delivered over a period of eight (8) months in three phases
Bidding will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, (current edition) and the Call for Proposal Document, and is open to all eligible Training Providers as defined in the Call for Proposal Document.
Interested eligible Training Providers may obtain further information from and inspect the Call for Proposal Documents from the Project Coordination Unit, 2nd Floor American Drywall Building, Vide Boutielle, Castries, Saint Lucia during office hours from 0900 hours (9:00 a.m.) to 1600 hours (4:00 p.m.).
A complete set of the Call for Proposal documents in English may be obtained on the submission of a written application to the address below (*).
All Proposals must be delivered to the address below (**) at or before December 1 2009 at 12:00 p.m. (1200 hours). Electronic Bidding shall not be permitted. Late proposals will be rejected. Proposals will be opened at 2:00 p.m. (1400 hours) on December 1, 2009 in the presence of Training Providers or their representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below (***). Late Proposals will be rejected.
Proposals will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below.
