The public and in particular residents of Garrand and environs
are informed that:

The Garrand Post Office will be closed with effect from May
31, 2004;

Mail will subsequently be delivered only to community boxes
that are currently being installed in the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Hall in
Garrand. Outward mail should be placed in the Posting Box provided.
Stamps will be sold by a licensed Stamp Vendor situated in the area.

Every household should register with the General Post Office
for a community letter box.

A maintenance fee of $10.00 is to be paid upon registration,
subject to renewal on an annual basis.
